You can track your UAE visa application if you applied for a visa in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship- ICA (the eChannel for residency and citizenship). However, people who applied for a Dubai visa or applied through Amer centres in Dubai can track their visa applications through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (Vision eForm.)

Online Channels

To apply online, you are first required to register and create an account, get the UAE pass, submit the application, pay the required fees and receive the entry permit via email.

It is important to be careful while providing valid and accurate information and also make sure that the correct ID number and expiry date are imputed when applying for renewal or replacement. The data inputted into the digital application form must be correct before paying the fees to avoid delays in the processing of the application.

Offline Channels

Typing centres

Applying for a Dubai visa offline can be done in a licensed typing centre. In the typing centre, the visa application is typed and processed through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs(GDRFA) of the respective emirate. When the typing application is approved, the sponsor will receive a message about the approval and the original entry permit.

Amer centres

The Dubai government stipulates that all entry permit and visa transactions must be carried out through its Amer centres. You can locate Amer centres in Dubai.

What Is The Validity Of Visas/ Entry Permits In The Uae?

The validity of visas and the period within which the visitor should enter the UAE is based on the type of entry permit issued.

The validity permit for employment visas, visit visas, and tourist visas are 60 days from the issue date while the validity of entry permits for GCC residents is 30 days from the issue date. Different validity periods apply for the various entry visas and work permits.
